330ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a large head. Aroma is roast, liquorice and tar. Taste is similar. Mild roast to start with liquorice and tar on the finish.

330ml bottle. Pours dark orange with a large head. Aroma is orange hops and fruity Belgian yeast. Taste is mostly orange. Some yeast. Slightly hoppy aftertaste.

On tap at Eebria, London. Pours black with creamy beige head. Roasted malts, chocolate, some fruity notes. Moderate bitterness. Smooth and dry.

Tried at the Newark Beer Festival 2016. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma grassy citrus taste is light sweet, with an orange bitter finish.

Cask at the Wellington; clear Coca Cola pour with a bubbly beige head, aroma has a hint of coffee and chocolate, taste has mild chocolate, hint of coffee, tart red fruits, pretty good.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 8/4/2016. Jet black and opaque, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of toasted malts, chocolate and liquorice, with a touch of leafy hop. Flavour had some dark fruits, with more chocolate, dense malts and a dryish finish. Good.

Cask at the Red Lion, Amblecote. Pours light gold with a small head. Aroma is straw and citrus. Taste has sweet straw to start and a bitter jelly and orange finish.

Cask at the Wellington; clear amber pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has sweet toffee and tropical hope, taste has tangerine, a hint of pine, sticky toffee, not much Belgian yeast action.
