Since changing our name from Topsham & Exminster Brewery in 2008, we have expanded ever more rapidly. We now have a fantastic site in Cowley Bridge Road where we have a retail shop and Tap-Room Bar. The Tap-Room is open every Thursday evening from 5pm to 11pm. Curry nights. Every last-Friday of the month the Tap room opens as normal, but we offer a curry, prepared and served by ARC Events. You don’t have to eat, just enjoy a drink, but the curries are great – takeaways available too.

Lunchtime, 14th July 2018. Cask hand-pulled pint at the Mitre Inn, Witheridge, Devon. Golden body off-white affair on top. Hoppy, fruity aroma and taste, slightly bitter and the finish/aftertaste is fairly dry. Decent.

Cask at Ealing Beer Festival 2018, Ealing, London. A dark ruby/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate on the nose. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate, some coffee, slightly bitter.

Hand-pulled cask pint in The Cock Hotel, 25th May 2018. Mahogany body, off-white blanket of foam on top. Malty, floral nose, semi-sweet malty taste with a little hop bitterness for balance. A decent traditional English Bitter all round. New rating from a 500ml bottle on 19th June 2026. Drank at my brothers house in Devon. Liked it!

Pours a clear amber colour with a small near white head that quickly disappeared. Aroma is light malts with a little caramel and fruit. Moderately sweet taste, malt and caramel with a touch of fruit and an earth with a pleasant hop bitterness. Okay.
