Description
Since changing our name from Topsham & Exminster Brewery in 2008, we have expanded ever more rapidly. We now have a fantastic site in Cowley Bridge Road where we have a retail shop and Tap-Room Bar. The Tap-Room is open every Thursday evening from 5pm to 11pm. Curry nights. Every last-Friday of the month the Tap room opens as normal, but we offer a curry, prepared and served by ARC Events. You don’t have to eat, just enjoy a drink, but the curries are great – takeaways available too.

Cask gravity at Ashford Rugby Club BF 2010. Proper brown bitter colour with thin beige head. It’s a slightly earthy toffeeish brown bitter. Same as 100 others. Earthy, touch of mud on the swallow.

Cask-conditioned at George’s Meeting House (JDW), Exeter 25/07/09. Amber coloured with next to no head. A malty west country session ale with some fruit and a decent bitter finish. Ok, but not particularly memorable.

Cask-conditoned at the Imperial (JDW), Exeter 26/07/09. Amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Biscuit malt aroma with a touch of fruit. Similarly malty flavour with plenty of bitterness in the finish. Got better as the pint went on.
