Can from Stirchley Wines; hazy amber pour with a massive frothy white head, robust malt aroma, taste has light fruit, malts, a hint of spice, decent malt forward IPA.

Can from Independent Spirits, Bath. As Maeib notes, brewery is now in Tennessee. Deep gold in colour, with slight carbonation and rocky, white, head. Sweet, malty, aroma with a touch of orange fruit. Flavour had more fruit, a touch of resin and some biscuity malts, before a gentle finish. Fine.

12oz can pours with a clear gold body and zero (nada) head. The aroma has sugary apple juice, brown sugar drenched peach slices and then a dash of grainy sort of doughy malts. The taste brings up fruity sweetness that has a firm malt liquor “street legal” estery sweet sugary fruitiness to it. This comes across just as the nose, sadly, but in liquid form. I find nothing redeeming here. Sure glad I was able to get the 12oz-er rather than the big can.

12oz can pours with a slightly hazy copper body that has thick gold edges and supports a weak near white head. The mild aroma offers up a soft mix of peach and pear like fruitiness where a sweet mango flavored cotton candy note is hanging around in the distance. The first impression of the flavor is that I get a faint sense of a wild cherry barrel aged sour. It is oddly inviting. Around that oddity are other fruity esters notes, a bit of molasses and I can’t shake a sliver or two of barrel produced vanilla bean. Strange stuff and somewhat off but not all that off-putting. Per style, this can of beer is some deranged blonde ale bourbon barrel aged soured hybrid sort of thing.
