Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber/gold with a slight fizzy white head. Aroma is light bready with some mild citrus. Med minus body. Flavor is a bit sweet, mucky bready, and there’s not really enough hop to write about - unless there’s some floral. For me the finish is not bitter at all. A little herby maybe.

Crisp, slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very thin, one centimetre tall white head. Aroma of rice, corn, cardboard, citrus, a touch of yeast, wort and not much else. Light-bodied; Assertive corn and funky malt flavours show strong but some light citrus and grassy herbal notes come at the end. Aftertaste shows most of the funky malt and unfinished wort-like qualities with only a touch of sweetness and complexity. Overall, not such a great beer - but that was almost expected. Nice to have in a can, but the beer really isn’t worth drinking! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Tustin, California on 06-December-2011 for US$1.49 sampled at home in Washington on 15-February-2012.

Hazy orange with a medium off white head. Hoppy nose with malt and grapefruity notes. Hoppy flavour with pine, grapefruits and malty hints. Kind of a thinnish body. Finished dry and bitter though.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. light grapefruit and light pine aroma. Grapefruit and pine resin flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and resin lingers with light earth.

Sample at San Diego Brewing Company. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head that recedes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is roasted nuts and malt. Medium-bodied and smooth with flavors of roasted malt, nuts and cocoa. The finish is sweet and nutty with a bit of hops in the aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
