Tap at Haarlems bierfestival. Hazy golden with white head. Lots of spicy Belgian yeast, some dairy, cloves, sweet malts, dough and some honey. Medium sweet with light herbal bitter finish. Medium bodied with creamy feel.

On tap at Jopen Proeflokaal. Deep dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of cheap chocolate, maltose, some hard-roasted malts, dust, caramel, quite sweet. Flavour is weak, sweet, some roast, hint of coffee, dark fruits, chocolate, minerals. Light bodied, fizzy. Lacks body and balance. Didn’t like it.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Niels. Clear dark reddish to ruby red-brown color, virtually no head. Smell malts, slightly a touch of roast, caramel, dark fruits, leaves. Taste malts, a hint of caramel, brown sugar, sweet-bitter. Average body and carbonation. Bit watery texture. Meh.
