Bottle @benzai. Hazy dark amber to ruby colour with a small off-white head. Smells roasty, coffee, somewhat sweet, chocolate. Tastes slightly roasty, watery, slightly coffee, brown sugar. Thin body, soft carbo.

On tap at PINT BBF ’14. Reddish brown colour, beige head. Aroma of yeast, dark fruits, raisins, malts. Flavour is medium-sweet, yeasty, watery, light fruity, raisins and plums, light bitter finish. Light-bodied. Boring.

Bottle shared thanks to 70s porn star Deanso ;-) Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of raisins, overripe dark fruit, caramel, light licorice and leather. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is big yeast, light malt, light alcohol. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth yeast bomb, light caramel, resin hop, alcohol bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not a Blond at all, so not what it says on the label. Reminds me of my first girlfriend!

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy dark orange color, small to average sized off-white head. Aroma is lightly malts, sweetness, candy, a touch of iron. Taste has all those things as well: lightly malts, sweetness, candy, some iron, overripe fruits and leaves. A bit off balance. And a blond btw?? Decent body and carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Smells wijnbal, roze kermis zoetstok, candy, sweet. Tastes some iron, roze kermis zoetstok. Best example of the roze kermis zoetstok i’ve ever had. Too bad that’s a bad thing. Medium body, soft carbo.
