Bottle 2004 at Kulminator. After taking some recommendations from other RBers, this was the first beer I ordered here. And what a drink. Only my third 5/5. Dark brown/chestnut colour with thick lasting beige head. Dark fruits on the aromas, but quite a fresh creamy nose as well. Beautifully soft in mouth, quite vinuous. Amazing raspberry, black cherry and creamy fruit flavours. Finish has some sourness and sweet fruit, both at the same time. Some dark choc as well. Wonderful. This was built up in my expectations to be good and in fact it was even more stunning than I had anticipated. A brilliant beer. Re-rate 2005 bottle De Garre. This is as good as it gets. Great vinous feel and flavours. Wonderful and great great fruit. 5/5

The color is a very dark amber, clean, with generous and creamy head. The aroma shows some oxidization, more than the flavor though; it’s malty, sweet; the bitterness is all gone. Still good, but probably at its limit.

Dark color, almost black; the head, initially medium sized, reduces ot a thin but persistent layer. Good aroma, very mature, with some caramel and chocolate. It has a good body, with caramel and malt flavor, medium sweet, liquor-like, with tobacco leaves; mature, but also a bit fruity, harmonious and complex at the same time. The alcohol feeling is more evident. It has almost no bitterness. Very interesting, but I think it may be even more in 5 or 6 years.

Cloudy brown color. Very nice aroma, some Madeira, Porto wine. Sweet, malty, round, complete, almost fruity. Great!

Cloudy blonde with a very large head. Duvellish aroma of pears and yeast, throwing in some light apricot for fun. Complex, with lots of great fresh pale malt notes kept zippy with bouncy pear and other light fruit esters. Finishes with a fairly stiff shot of alcohol - 5.5% doesn’t really seem right here. Cool stuff. Go Lachesis!

Amazing, a brew that started only recently, and which is already very good! Clear dark brown color, short but lasting brown head. Aroma of prune, grapes, roasted malt, sugar cane. Very strong and penetrating. Full taste of roasted and caramel malts, bit spicy, sweet, some chocolat. Fruity, malty and sweet. Very nice!

Bottled. Dark brown opaque colour, huge foamy/creamy brownhead. Very complex aroma, malts, almond, nuts, alcohol, sweet fruit and caramel. Flavour of almond, nuts, sweet alcohol, raisins, plum and caramel. Aftertaste is plummy with strong sweetness. Absolutely lovely palate. Wonderful brew, which excellently hides it’s ABV. Smooth and soft yet very complex! Thanks omhper!

Bottled. Hazy pale golden. Fruity buckwheat aroma. Fresh with rounded lively mouthfeel and an unusually solid maltiness for a witbier. Estery notes of tangerine. Very drinkable.
