12oz bottle-pours a foamy tan head and hazy copper/orange color. Aroma is bitter citrus/pine hops, secondary sweet medium malt-caramel/toffee backbone. Taste is bitter pine/citrus hops, some secondary medium malt-caramel,, tannins, herbal, spices, metallic. Medium body. Nice Thanks Wasatch.

Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Low citrus/earth aroma. Rich malty (a bit of darker malt) flavor with some slight earth and citrus. Mediumbody. Lingering caramel and earth/citrus. I’m just not digging the Bravos.

Pours a copper hue with off white head. The aroma is pretty solid with a nice mix of grapefruit hops and sweet caramelized or crystal malts. The result of these notes becomes sweet citrus orange juice. Yum. OK, now a swig. The taste starts with an initial malt sweetness and then grapefruit hop bitterness jumps on board. The bitter hops ride out into the finish creating a fresh grapefruit fruitiness. Nice IPA with plenty of bitter hops that don’t turn overly bitter.

Tasted at the Wet Hop Event at the Hayward Bistro. Pours clear copper with a bright white head and nice lacing. The aroma is very light with faint sweet malts and roastiness. I had a hard time picking up much hoppiness in the nose. The taste is malty with sweet roasted malts and caramelization. The hops show up in equal strength as the malts with spiciness, mild sweet citrus hop flavor and bitterness. The finish is dry, slightly tart and has a lingering citrus bitterness.

Pours a murky brown with tan head. It looks dirty. It has a huge aroma of an old oak tree going through a wood chipper. Hidden behind the pile of wood chips is a mild fruitiness made up of dates, prunes and figs followed by a hint of alcohol. Smells yummy. The taste is full in flavor. I get a dryness to start with a mild tart tannin note followed by a smooth mixture of dates, prunes and figs. Behind the initial flavor the woodiness begins to flourish. It ends somewhat as it started. I get mild fruitiness and muted wood into the after taste as well as a faint dryness.

Pours a somewhat hazy straw to gold with thin bright white head. The aroma is strong enough I could smell it the moment it was opened. Lots of aroma that reminds me of Pilsner Urquell. I get floral hops and sweet sugar and pale to grain malts with a faint earthy quality. After a couple of minute the aroma sort of vanished. I got to the point where I could smell it at all. The taste is mildly malty sweet with some floral hops and the earthiness noticed in the nose. Near the finish it gets slightly tart. Nice hot weather beer.
