On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - opaque black with a thin crema head. Nose - massive coffee. Creamy vanilla. Taste - creamy chocolate and burnt toffee or molasses. Dry smoky toffee finish. Palate - medium to full bodied with a creamy texture. Sweet luscious finish. Overall - yeah another beer where they’ve chucked in a tonne of coffee. However, thank goodness it doesn’t taste like it smells. Properly balanced malt bill.
