Bottle from het Biermoment, dated 5-6-2015, large sample. Cloudy golden color, short foamy head. Aroma has fresh ground coffee, bit spicy, some citrussy notes, coriander like, bit cookie. Slight sourish in taste from fruit, kiwi apparently, bitter spicy coffee, slight tart. Weird, but interesting. I wonder whether there is a thought behind this combnation of coffee and tart fruit in a blond beer, or that it rather is some fancy look at me experimenting. Seeing the rest of this breweries beers, Im a bit afraid of the last one.

Bottle from het Biermoment, pink wax dated 4-6-2015, BB 1.5 years after, large sample. Hazy amber to copper cooor, short bubbly head. Aroma ie quite spicy, orange, ginger, raisin, autumn leaves, licorice. Its quite typical, but Im so bad at guessing the right spices. Very spicy in taste as well, quite some candied ginger sweetness, spicy bitterness. I can see why several people dont like it, but for a spiced beer, its pretty interesting to taste. Could be a bit more balanced though.

Tasting glass draft @ Van Moll Brewpub. There was a flier advertising this beer behind the counter & first I thought that it was a beer cocktail. Sounds weird. Very hazy amber orange (big unexpected) with a big creamy white head. Nose is weird vegetable roasted coffee, lightly sour (from the kiwi, I assume). Taste is sour lightly vegetable coffee, powdery coffee grounds, ashes, sour green kiwi, sour green grapes, touch sour wheat. Body is too much coffee grounds. Like expected the combo doesn’t fully work but it is interesting, flawed but I did grow a bit fond of it. Interesting, partially successful.

Sampled @ Bierbrigadier. Hazy pale yellow color, small white to off-white head. Aroma is really weird: coffee and kiwi mixed together which makes a rather peculiar aroma. Don’t really like that mix. Taste lightly malts, kiwi and fruitpeel initially, coffee aftertaste. Well brewed, interesting stuff.

Sampled from bottle @ Bierbrigadier. Hazy orange color, virtually no head. Aroma is soft, delicate almost. I get apple, pear, sweetness. Taste apple, lightly sweet with a hint of fruitpeel. Decent body and carbonation. Quite good.

33cl bottle courtesy of me shared @THT June. Thin creamy tan head. Clear black pour. Too dark for a barley wine. Some chocholate. An odd barley wine.

33cl bottle from den Gouwen Aar. Very thin white head. Hazy golden pour. The wax top looks good but a couple of flecks landed in my beer. Pepper aroma. Refreshing saison but with a little too much herbal aftertaste for me. Interesting first beer for me from this new brewery
