Bottle. Reddish brown with a coat of beige head that’s soon gone. Aroma of caramel and bread - pretty kvassish really. Sweet and a little syrupy with caramel, bread, a little roast, mocha syrup, light spices. Rather odd. Didn’t care for it.

Bottle, 330 ml courtesy of and shared with JFK10000. Pours deep amber, off white head. Candy sweet opening, caramel comes later. Malty, bit roasted. Way too sweet.

*Rating from 2010. Schön frische Limonade. Das Bier bleibt etwas im Hintergrund, frisch-süffig, mild-zitronig mit einem Hauch Bier im Abgang.

Can. Hazy light golden with small white head. Light lemon, pancake batter, orange sweets. Quite bland actually, just some sweet dough with very light tart citrus. Light to medium bodied. It’s hard to find a witbier that’s totally messed up, and this is still drinkable but bottom of the pile.

Can from Norma. Clear dark golden with small to medium sized white head. Cloves, peach, some herbs, ras-al-hanout, curry, some grass and herbs. Medium sweet with some cardboard in the finish. Medium bodied with watery feel. This is not very good, but can match a Grimbergen or Leffe that costs twice as much. Ridiculously cheap.

Can from Norma. Clear golden with small head. Corn, old bread, some cardboard, light earthy, old hops. Light sweet with chemical medium bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Bad, even for macro lager standards this is far below average.

bottle from E.Leclerc Geispolsheim. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Grainy, dusty nose. Light-bodied, malty with a sticky sweetness, some dusty hints, a sour touch and hints of green hops. Don’t know what to make of it.
