Bottle, 5.9%. Fruity and grainy aroma, but OK refreshing. Clear golden colour. Stable white head. The flavour is like many other macro lagers, hay and grain. This one has a bit more flavour, sweetness and mouthfeel, most likely due to the extra alcohol and thus less water.

Canette 500ml.

Bottle (Merci, Quack-Duck !): Chestnut-amber coloured, mid-sized quite stable fluffy off-white head; moderate sweetish dark-malty and nutty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; mild malty and bitter-sweet finish. Not very exciting, but quite O.K. .......

(33cl bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized beige foamy head. Sweet and slightly dark malty nose with notes of caramel and sugar beet. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, rather slim bodied for a brew of 5.8% abv; soft on carbon. Malt-accented taste with light notes of caramel; sweet-bitter finish with drying out effects; also slightly toasted malty with a moderate length. Starts rather weak, but finishes fairly rounded (23.08.08).

05/08 0.25 l bottle from Interspar @ BTC, Ljubljana. Poured pale golden body with big head that went down immediately. Lime aroma, more juicy than other radlers, very refreshing, I would even say pleasant, but I didn’t felt any beer here...C’mon, is this even a radler?!

Bottle courtesy of and shared with heavy who brought it from Slovenia (thanks!) Medium-big white head that went away relatively fast. Dull, pale gold body. Lemony assault in the aroma. Ok taste, juice, not all that fake, some malt. Sweet. Ccould be called a good soda even, but it’s no good beer.

330 ml. bottle from the Utobeer stall in Borough Market. BB 30 Nov 08. Rather yeasty and vinous aromas. Gold color with some white head. It is rather grapey. Noble hop spice. Has a dry finish suggesting champagne in some ways. Very interesting.

Canette 250ml.
