Tap at BPBW 2025. Dark brown-black body, off-white head. Vanilla and light chocolate notes in the aroma. Vanilla drives the taste as well, which is dark-malt driven itself, bit dry, roasty and oily. Solid enough, liked some other variations slightly more.

Tap at BPBW 2025, day 1. Dark brown body, lasting off-whtie head. Dried fruit more than coffee in the somewhat oxidized aroma. Cofee dominates the dry taste, some raisins, well hidden alcohol. Quite nice, but light pepper started showing - out of prime I'd say.

Tap, courtesy of the BPBW crew, thanks a lot! Opaque golden with a white head. Nose is moderately fruity, lightly citric. Taste is sweetish upfront but then almost immediately takes a bitter turn, it shows citrus zest, some fruity character and interestingly it's somewhat acidic, something I've noticed in kveik IPAs earlier. Closes with a dry, bitter finish, has a light body and average carbonation. Not bad, but nothing outstanding either.

Tap at Kraft. Jet black pour with a beige head. Nose is intense chocolate, booze, lots of bourbon, vanilla and light coffee. Beautiful. The taste is just as good: full of bourbon notes and chocolate, coffee, cocoa powder, light molasses and a hint of dried fruits. Sweet, but not cloying. The barrel notes are intense but not overpower the base beer, very well done. Closes with a long lasting, sweet chocolate-bourbon finish, has a HUGE body and soft carbonation. Damn good stuff.

0.33 l bottle @ Green Sheep Bar. Pours hazy orange with no head. Bitter hops, fruity and floral notes, maltsy overtones, tea and bergamott in aroma and taste. Long, bitter finish. Surprisingly easily drinkable, light to medium bodied and softly carbonated. Well balanced, delicious DIPA.

Tap at Grand. Deep, clear golden pour, white head. Nose is floral, slighlty tart notes. Taste is floral again, camomille is definitely there, but I don’t quite get anything other than this. Low sourness, faint sweet notes. Light bodied with average carbonation. Bit of a meh.
