Draught @ First Draft, Chicago (Aug 2023). Hazy rich yellow with a small foamy off-white head, citrus-pineapple aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel-pineapple taste, faint mango flavor, thin body, long juicy finish, Juicy, easy to drink.

Tap at Rotary Grove Fest. They had to put off a lot of foam to get up (past) the 2 oz. plimsoll. Black beer, with almond shell foam. Smell is big on almond and vanilla, unfortunately, a lot like some scented soaps. Beer itself has a nice thick mouthfeel. I'm not sure I'm crazy about the biscotti flavors. Some nice cocoa and coffee wins out at the end.

Single can, $4.99 at Orange & Brew. First cold weather of the season, time to break into an imperial stout. Coca-Cola black, with a big foamy tan head. Cinnamon and coffee and pretty prominent in the nose. Mouthfeel is immediately a little syrupy, thick and sticky. Big taste of coffee, chocolate and cinnamon barely allows the malt roast to settle in. Quite liking this big beer.
