16 oz. can. Pours dark brown, with a strange, purplish hint. Fizzy, fleeting, beige head. The nose is toffee, chalk, rubber, dark chocolate, and sherry. Sweet and syrupy, and a bit funky. Good aromas, but a little off. Light to medium body, with a slicky, sticky palate. Funky, but not that bad.

16 oz. can. Pours black, with a small, beige head. The aroma is milk chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, light ancho chilies, and pecans. Sweet and malty, with a touch of roasty bitterness. The palate is smooth and creamy, with a bit of a grainy feel. Mellow and tasty. The heat is almost imperceptible, but builds through the drink, to a mild burn.

Canned December 12th.

Pours almost black, well, close enough to black but not pitch black. A little weak in the foam and lacing.

Smell is of roasted malt, chocolate, malty but doesn't come across as sweet. Very little bitterness. Some hints of fruit noticeable.

Taste is chocolate, light roasted malt, light bitterness, I reckon from the chocolate, low sweetness. I get some fruity notes from time to time and a bit of smoke.

On the cusp of light and medium bodied, this is quite drinkable. Good.

Can shared in Canary Wharf - cheers Dave. Pours lightly hazy gold with a foamy, white head. Moderately sweet, with some grainy pale malts, sugary citrus fruits, oranges. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly warming. Decent sauce.

Can split at L6, thanks to Dave, 10/02/20. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is sweet malts, toffee, nutty, chocolate biscuit, dried fruits. Taste comprises mellow roast, cocoa powder, brown sugar dusting, figs, earthy tones, light charr. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, drying close. Ok impy but not one I'd revisit … coffee just wasn't prominent enough.
