Bottle at Antarabangsa Enterprise, Penang. Near black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, fudge, toffee, light chocolate and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Golden with a white head. Aroma of graininess, cardboard, a bit of acetaldehyde. Sweetish flavor, papery, acetaldhyde. Light-bodied. Bleh.

To Ale pachnie naprawdę Whisky i smakuje. Czy zeczywiscie to Single Malt, czy nie tansze Blended trudno mi to tu wyczuć i rozroznic. Nie mniej piwo jest slodowe, Whisky dominuje, jest sporo wanilli i toffi. Piwo bursztynowo herbaciane z lekka metnoscia. Zakonczenie miodowo cytrynowe.

Közepes hab, fekete szín. Illata pörkölt malátás, kávés. Közepesen kesernyés, erősen pörkölt, kávés jelleg, a korty sajnos határozottan a kissé megégett pirítóskenyérre emlékeztet, ez hosszú utóízében is megmarad. Közepesen testes.

Gylden brun klar med lavt beige skum. Lite whiskylukt, men vaniljen er der. Lite whisky også i smak, virker som den har ligget på ubrukte fat. Men smaken er god, noe søtlig karamell i tillegg til vaniljen. Kort noe brent karamell i avslutningen.

Bottle from Cold Storage, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown with a fizzy light tan head. The aroma is roasted sweet malts. The flavour is moderate sweet with a sugary, light liqiourice bitter palate and a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Bottled 330ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Dark brown (almost black) coloured, medium sized brown head, mild chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, caramel, soft chocolate and pretty sugary with bitterish roasty finish. Too sweet but ok.

Bottle, with a nice smooth pour. Slight veggie aroma. Not as much whiskey as expected. Compared to other whiskey beers, this still has a pretty apparent beer flavor. Dated 11/2015, heheh, that probably accounts for the smell. Perhaps I do detect a little scotch in there on the swallow end. Strong but yet not medicinal, nor cloying. Probably one of the better english strong ales I’ve had in a while. Surprisingly good crisp carbonation.
