Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, rough white head. Strange, phenollic and smoky nose. Medium body, very sweet fruitiness with some yeast and phenols. Rather hoppy finish. 280111

On tap @ my local De Ponteneur, Amsterdam. Dark redbrown color, very hazy. Thick beige head, quickly disappearing. Smells acidic, roasted, spicy, caramel malty. Taste is a bit tart and a bit caramel-sweet, roasted. Fairly fullbodied. Finishes slightly bitter and roasted. The sourness is not overwhelming, but I do think they have a problem.

Bottle @ Noord Hollands Bierfestival. Golden color, hazy. Aroma is sweet, malty, spicy and some caramel. Flavor is sweet/caramel. The caramel reminded me of the Praght beers. On the sweet side, but quite flavorful.

Bottle at 4th Noord-Hollands Bierfestival ’10, brewed at De Prael, 7.8%. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of spices, coriander, nutmeg, anise, malts. Flavour is sweet, spicy, bit of orange peel, coriander, light bitter spicy finish. Medium bodied. A bit too sweet and overcarbonated imo. Otherwise decent. 636312 Re-rate July ’12, 33cl Bottle at Roest, at 8.3% ABV, brewed at De Proef. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, some alcohol, coriander, light floral and yeasty. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, coriander, floral, yeast, light alcohol, slightly dry bitter finish. Medium-bodied, soft carbonation. A lot better than the previous version imo. 737315
