Dark ruby colored, decent tan head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, candied fruits. Taste is sweet caramel and toffee, again candy dark fruit, some roasted nuts. Low but present bitterness. Medium bodied and slightly chewy.

0,5 l can, bought at Grüne Woche 2015, Berlin. Clear golden in the glass, nice but shortliving white head. Not a lot on the nose. Thin taste. Little bit grainy sweetness, synthetic cardboard bitterness, hints of apples. High carbonation. Below average.

CAN 33 CL. A clean simple macro-lager with a lollipoppy sugary and fruity aroma. The flavour also starts sweet, followed by a decent amount of spicy hops. The body is light, yet not watery. The carbonation is a bit too sharp. Not bad.

BOTTLE 33 CL as Zagorka Rezerva 2014. The aroma is berries, or rather fruit flavouring or bubble gum. It is something vaguely resembling blackberries or blueberries. The flavour also has that, but is still closer to what a beer is supposed to be - with hints of toasted malts and some hops in the finish. No, thanks.

BOTTLE 33 CL. It starts well with some noble dark bready notes (that go away after a while, but not totally). The flavour is weaker - light caramel sweetness, the body is quite light, mineral water carbonation, very light hop bitterness with a phenolic edge.

CAN 50 CL. The aroma is just as you would expect it - dark caramel and even some chocolate. Later, you get some tannic stale wine notes. The flavour, on the other hand, is just the opposite - it does start with a light sweetness, that is replaced immediately with a dry spicy astringent bitterness, with notes of wine and spicy oak. The body is solid, yet easy drinkable. And the beer gets better as you drink it, which is unusual for a macro-lager. Good.
