Description
Former name until 2006: "Privatbrauerei Josef Sigl".
The Trumer private brewery, formerly the Josef Sigl private brewery, is located in Obertrum am See near Salzburg and was founded in 1601. In 2006 the name was changed to the current company name. The Trumer private brewery is an eighth generation family business. Beer has been brewed in Obertrum am See since 1601. The brewery has been owned by the Sigl family since 1775 and is currently managed by the eighth generation of Josef C. Sigl.
The brewery uses a tight and - probably - unique and (partly) certified brewing process with 100% natural hops, an open fermentation in open yeast vats and a process of slow brewing (they take the time to let the beer mature).

Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is buttery, grassy, grapefruit, celery. Taste is buttery, a bit tart, grassy hops. The grassyness is really dominant. Nourishing feeling. Interesting, but not like I expected.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Lots of citrus and some flowers. Very light with a hard and crisp carbonation. Thin body, but at this ABV you can’t ask for much. Dry, refreshing and highly drinkable. Quite impressive.

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is grassy hops, citrus zest, lime. Taste is the same, refreshing, just a little bit grainy. Slightly tart, slightly bitter finish. High carbonation. Extremely nice for a Low ABV beer, just a bit too much carbonation.

Bottle at home, 21/07/16. Brought back from Vienna by my parents. Sweet an hazy aroma - grass, floral, perhaps honey? Extremely pale gold. Fizzy. Unipressive white head - an archipeligo! First impression on drinking it is how pleasant it is on the palate - smooth and soft - frothy carbonation. Initially notived the sweetness but the slightly bitter edge gradually took prominence. Grapefruit with a that honey aroma coming through. Not normally the biggest fan of a Pils, but this I really enjoyed.

Flosch’n: Pale golden to hazy, quite stable mid-sized and lacy white head; pretty distinctive grassy to Saazy nose, supported by sweet pale malt; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; lingering sweet pale-malty and grassy-hoppy finish. Tasty and well balanced! Underrated...
