Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol 27/2/2017. Copper red in colour, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head. Red berry fruits and a hint of citrus, biscuity malts and a touch of brown sugar, before a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Light with its chocolate, but also light tasting for its strength, which is not overly evident. This does provide a fuller texture and there’s a slight dryness to proceedings.

Cask @ The Waterhouse, Manchester. Golden-amber with a creamy-smooth head. Smooth and crisp, it has a light hoppy fruitiness.

Cask @ Kitty’s. Poured golden color with a thick creamy white head. Apricots, malts, biscuity notes in aroma . Flavor has citrusy hops, floral notes, hay, grass. Biting bitter finish.
