200ml draught, 5.6 % abv, at the brewpub. Dark golden body, hazy. Beige head blanketing the upper part of the glass. Mild aroma of herbal hops, citrus and bread. Ripe citrus flavours added by a light touch of malty sweetness. Distant bitterness to the ending. Slightly watered mouth feel. Fair enough (Helsinki 28.09.2015).

[ As Il Birrificio Willi ].Unclear - hazy matt medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, yeasty, fruity, zesty notes. [ As Il Birrificio Fyrkka ].Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, hay, straw. Tap at Il Birrificio, Helsinki. Colour is deep orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, tropical fruits, some spices, hints of Belgian style elements, hops and malts. Best so far from Il Birrificio and first decent brew.

Tap@ Il Birrificio. Amber color with a thin white head. Apricots, yeasty notes, citrus fruits. Flavor has gooseberries, grapefruit, orange peel. Nice dry bitterness.

Keg @ Il Birrificio. Pours amber with a thick white head. Water melon, mild herbal aroma. Quite mellow . Flavor has bitter hops, berries, some strawberries even. Not a beer for me.

(Keg at Il Birrificio, 20150909) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spiciness, black pepper and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had black pepper, yeast and bitterness. A bit messy brew but the spiciness induced by the yeast did hit the sweet spot.

(Keg at Il Birrificio, 20150909) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A messy hoppy pale ale.

Draught @ the brewpub. Aroma has grass, funky yeasty tones and apricot. Flat palate, no CO2 at all. Flavour has apricot, grass, some citron and grapefruit. Finishes with hayish cereal. Aroma was promising but flavour is a bit off.
