Tap at Il Birrificio, Helsinki. Colour is deep cloudy orange with small white head. Hints of caramel, pine, some harsh fruits, hops and malts. Quite messy. Very juicy body. Needs more beer elements but overall drinkable. Hoppy balance is OK.

Draught @ Brewpub Pours yellowish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of spices, wheat, yeast, hints of orange peel and grass. Taste is smooth, fruity, wheaty and slightly yeasty with hints of spices, orange peel and grassy hops. Finish is quite carbonated and sweetish, a bit stuffy and yeasty with some fruits wheaty notes. Okay fruity wit.

Taste is smooth, a bit thin bodied but crisp and grassy with some citrus, pine, resin and hints of juicy fruits and berries. Finish is grassy, a bit stuffy and sweetish with hints of bitterness. Okay, but slightly thin, and a bit unbalanced and stuffy.

Keg at Il Birrifico, Helsinki. It pours cloudy golden-orange with a decent white head. The is sweet doughy malts, toasty grain, biscuit, brioche, muffin, cereal, peach, pear and apricot. The taste is bitter-sweet, stewed orange, peach, pear drops, decent bitterness, doughy malts, straw, minerals, light sherbet and spice with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Decent saison.

(Keg at Il Birrificio, Helsinki, 20250523) The beer poured pale orange and cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, coriander and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, coriander, saltiness, grass, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, hoppy and bitter. A tasty wit with pleasant spiciness.

Draught @ Il Birrificio. Aroma has funky yeasty tones, some orange, apricot and mild hayish tones. Flavour has fruity yeast, apricot, grapefruit and some spicy tones. Quite rich for this ABV. Refreshing, a wit with saisony elements.

(Keg at Il Birrificio, Helsinki, 20150513) The beer poured pale golden and rather cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness, black pepper and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, black pepper, spiciness, mild sourness, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was peppery, spicy and bitter. A tasty saison with black pepper.
