Description
In 2013 we brewed beer for the first time in our first brewery in the Amsterdam Pijp. We now make award-winning beers, soft drinks and from beer what is left over we distil gin and gin again. We make everything ourselves, as local as possible and completely organic because that is better for our beer and for the planet. Our breweries are located in the most beautiful places in the middle of Amsterdam. Not at all efficient of course, but all the more fun!

150ml on tap at the brewpub Brouwerij Troost - de Pijp. A solid white tophead, Next to clear warm golden body. Spotty lacing. Moderate nose of bread and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavours, hints of banana and yeast. Warmth from the alcohol. Fine bodied. Satisfying. (Amsterdam 08.03.2018).

150ml on tap at the brewpub Brouwerij Troost - de Pijp. Remaining white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Misty amber-gold body. Honeyed malty smell, dry. Honey, toffee and dried fruity flavours with a welcome bittersweet tail. Fine bodied. Pretty alright. (Amsterdam 08.03.2018).

150ml draught at Brouwerij Troost - de Pijp. Hazed amber coloured body. Pearl white head, fair lacing. Dusty hops on the nose, a bit sweaty. Hop fruity taste of orange, with subdued malty sweetness beneath. Moderate bitter end. Soft in the mouth. Accepted. (Amsterdam 08.03.2018).

150ml draught at Brouwerij Troost - de Pijp. Spotty lacing from a snow white head. A wheat haze to a golden body. Spiced fruity nose, mid-sweet. Spiced banana hints to the taste buds, moments of yeast and wheat. A bit thin in the mouth. Accepted. (Amsterdam 08.03.2018).

150ml on tap at the brewpub Brouwerij Troost - de Pijp. A snow white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Clear yellow-gold body. Grainy nose, hints of herbal hops. Bread-like taste added by a touch of mild honeyed fruits and moments of subdued bitterness to the ending. Clean in the mouth. Decent version of the style. (Amsterdam 08.03.2018).

Light brown frothy head left a bubbly cover on a reddish brown, finely effervescent body. Malt, jam, berry & fruit juice aroma. Medium bodied with a really nice smooth, soft feel in the mouth. Very subtle tastes of red berries, sugar, grape, fruit juice & raspberry.

Tap at Arendsnest, 21st February 18. Pours slightly hazy, big head. Aroma is floral. Taste is clean, subtle, floral, limited bitterness. Quite OK.

Draught at Arendsnest. Clean black with a mocha head. Aroma of black currant. Flavour is licorice malt, chocolate, lactose on a dry chocolate malt finish.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen. Amberkleurig licht troebel bier met stevig schuim. Aroma van kersen en pruimen. Smaak is eerst moutig en houtig later fruitig en vol. Hele licht bittere nasmaak.
