Description

In 2013 we brewed beer for the first time in our first brewery in the Amsterdam Pijp. We now make award-winning beers, soft drinks and from beer what is left over we distil gin and gin again. We make everything ourselves, as local as possible and completely organic because that is better for our beer and for the planet. Our breweries are located in the most beautiful places in the middle of Amsterdam. Not at all efficient of course, but all the more fun!

Draught @ Brouwerij Troost - de Pijp, Cornelis Troostplein 21, Amsterdam, Netherlands 1072JJ. [ As Troost Pilsner ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grain, sweet malt, light yeasty, light herbs - vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, grain - herbal - floral, pale malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170921] 6-3-6-3-11

Draught @ Brouwerij Troost - de Pijp, Cornelis Troostplein 21, Amsterdam, Netherlands 1072JJ. [ As Troost New England IPA ].Murky matt medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, tropical fruit, fruit juice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruit juice, tropical fruit, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170921] 7-3-7-3-15

Fles gedeeld met LiekevdV. Het is een donker amberkleurig bier met een dunne schuimkraag. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur met fruitige tonen. De smaak is moutig, vol met hints van rood fruit.

Draft @ Troost Oost location. Deep amber color, a bit hazy. Very dense off white head with good retention. Aroma's: fruity, light citrus, some malty sweetness, earthy hops. Retronasal it's fruity, light citrussy sourness, some sweetness, light bitter and resinous. Flavor is moderate bitter, light toasted malts. Medium bodied. Finishes with a longlasting firm bitterness. Pretty good by Troost standards.
