On cask at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours with a black body and a tan head. Aroma is phenomenally intense, brown sugar, dusty cocoa, butter chocolate, and vanilla. All very powerful. Taste is dusty, bitter cocoa powder, some nuts, and supremely decadent. Light carbonation. Intensely powerful beer.

Goblet pour @ Blue Palms on the Monday after their 2nd anniversary party. It was happy hour so I was able to get this for $3 (SCORE). Color is black and has a large tan head atop of the body, Aroma is all just strong coffee, this definitely is not subtle. I pick up some fecal-stout, very fumy and very ashy coffee aspect. There is plenty of residual sugar sweetness on the nose. Flavor is ashy-cigarette-coffee, which works well for my taste buds with the sweet and sugary stout base. My favorite part is how the flavor integrates well with the creamy mouthfeel. Its soft and velvety. I like it, the alcohol is hidden by the sugar, the coffee is strong but works well in the flavor.

Hazy amber with a small white head. Hoppy aroma with lots of peach, some citrus, hints of vegetables and some caramel. Sweet fruit and caramel flavour with a green tobacco-like hoppiness and bitterness
