Sour and Bitter 2016. Golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with perfumed, almost soapy citrus. Sweet malty flavour of grain and bread, with hay, and more soapy citrus.

Bottle. Beautiful tan head on pitch black beer. Nose of bourbon, soy sauce, vanilla, some cola, chocolate. Luscious chocolate flavor, vanilla, bourbon, some wood. Great, rich flavors. Excellent.

Draft - Sweet, buttery and sweet hops. Clear gold with a decent white head. Nice sweet and bitter with a light fruity hoppy finish.

Cask - Stickt citrus and tropical notes. Pale cold with no head. Fruity and Woody notes with a mellow finish. Pineapple really doesn’t show up for me.

Draft - Minty chocolate. Jet brown with a small white head. Dark chocolate and minty notes with lots of bitterness. Not my thing.

Draft - Nice caramel and citrus hops. Cloudy gold with a nice white head. Sweet and candy like hops notes. Touch of bitterness in the finish. Solid IIPA.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours black with a light tan head. The aroma has some sweet coffee, caramel, cream and some noticeable coconut with a a hint of ashy roasted malt. The flavor is super smooth and creamy with big coffee and supporting notes of cocoa and coconut. Thick and creamy on the palate with low roasted malt. The coconut is kept in check mostly, but is definitely noticed. Rich and decadent. Right up there with Hawaiian Speedway and.....all those other hyped coconut imperial stouts. So good.

Wow. Hard to find this listing! I kept spelling out "first". My bad. Anyway, I had this on draft at the Tap 25 Pizza Port takeover. It pours a light golden color with a white head. The aroma is dank and spicy. Pretty potent with earthy dank. The flavor is the same with huge dankness, a little earth with some very light supporting bready, doughy malt. Fruitier notes of grapefruit and passionfruit come out mid-palate with a medium dank, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Awesome sauce.

First In Coffee Porter from Pizza Port (Carlsbad)

Dark brown color. Big coffee nose with decent roasted malt character. Slightly sweet malty, full body with coffee. Rounded and smooth. Excellent.
