Very nice, old Lithuanian beer. Keptinis uses whole loaf rye in the mash. Often not boiled, this does taste like it might be raw. Sweet, bready, but lots of that rye spice. I obviously didn't drink the whole litre and I wish I had brought it back to

Nice, simple dark beer. This seems to be a good brewery who enjoys making simple beers with traditional ingredients in small batches (though they're not hard to find, so perhaps but not too small).

1l. swing-top bottle. Piana srednia ale trwala jasna barwa jak na amber lager, taki po prostu ciemniejszy lager, metne i to bardzo choc osadku nie ma niskie wysycenie ze krachla nawet nie syknela. Pijalne lekkie, nieco karmelowe, kwaskowosc niska, a szkoda, bo tak ja lubie w litewskich piwach.

1l Swing-top bottle. Niefiltrowane, metne, miedziano-bursztynowe ze spora piana, kwaskowe lekko karmelowe ale ta litewska kwasowosc tak charakterystyczna ze sie z niczym nie da pomylic, jest i tu, i smak daje pelny, tresciwy. Bardzo dobry dunkel, takie wlasnie sobie je wyobrazam.

1 L. Swing top big bottle. Shared with my Father. niebawem oktoberfest wiec sobie takiego giganta zakupilem, dodatkowo nalane do litrowego kufla Paulanera. A jak w nim jest, piana z 10cm, konkretna i trwala, zlota barwa wpadajaca w odcien pomaranczy, lekko mgliste, niewiele osadu. zbozowe, slodowe, smaczne tresciwe, moze malo chmielne, ale nie zawsze tak musi byc. Pasuje do meczu Polska-Walia

Bottle from local Polish shop - drank at home. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with minimal transient off-white head. Malts to the fore in the aroma, plus traces of corn and tangerines. In the mouth it is sweet with a slightly creamy texture., and low carbonation. Malts again as the flavour, plus corn, honey and ginger. Quite bitter in the finish. This is decent.

1l swing-top bottle. Many thanks for the empty bottle and big sample to Tomek. Piwo lekko metnawe, dosc jasne, niemal slomkowe, zbozowe, sezamkowe, nieco slonecznikowej tresci. Malo chmielne niestety. Takie zbozowe za malo metnosci jak na nie filtrowane piwo.

17/9/2022. Bottle at the Malilla GP beer share. From Marek. Pours clear very dark mahogany brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of light roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla latter, molasses, slightly meaty ashy edge. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, quite thin, soft carbonation. Finishes weakly. Fair.
