1 litre glass bottle bought from Baltic Foods Oxford and drunk at home. Colour is very dark brown and opaque with a short-lived tan head. Earthy, malty aroma. Lovely taste, bready with strong notes of raisins and currants, chocolate malt on the finish. It is way too sweet but not a bother in small quantities. Light body with carbonation on the heavy side. Lovely except for the intense sweetness.

Very dark brown, with a small, but long-lasting head. The aroma is of roasted malt, chocolate, bread, and dark fruit. The taste follows the aroma, plus caramel. Very balanced, with nothing dominating. Smooth and very drinkable. Slightly sweet. Not overly roasted.
