1 litre bottle shared with Eric in Eecke. Great to try this historical Keptinis style, Has a cakey almost gingery caramelisation to it, quite pleasant. Moderate lager body, good drinkability.

Bottle. Bready, doughy, with some caramel hints. Banana notes and a hint of cloves. Some flowery hints as well. Dull and uninteresting. 43438 260606

Bottle. Feels like a mix between a bland, quite bready weissbier and a low alcohol pale lager. Some banana and cloves, and a touch of generic fruitiness. Dull, and not very quenching either. 44437 260606

1 litre glass bottle bought from Baltic Foods Oxford and drunk at home. Colour is very dark brown and opaque with a short-lived tan head. Earthy, malty aroma. Lovely taste, bready with strong notes of raisins and currants, chocolate malt on the finish. It is way too sweet but not a bother in small quantities. Light body with carbonation on the heavy side. Lovely except for the intense sweetness.
