The Day 11 can of the Beer Republic Advent Calendar. Aroma is sweet and juicy. A slightly bitter resinous edge. Opaque as opposed to hazy gold. Foamy white head. Initial bitter hit - resin and stone fruit - is then pushed aside by a wave of big sugary canned fruit. Medium bodied. Oily. Lazy soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Initially found it to be too sweet but it then grew on me (as I grew desensitised).

Beer Republic Advent Calendar 2024. A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, some tropical fruits, tangerine. Taste of strong citrusy hops, pine, apricot. Long bitter finish.

Can Day 11, Loz's Beer Republic Advent Calendar, Wednesday 11th December 2024, : really quick tea of Fish Finger sandwich tonight after Loz's late finish following Deutsch course, listening to ByteFM. Pours warm gold with large white head. Citrussy nose a little bit pithy even, but heavy malty and a little honey suggest a sweetish beer which indeed it is. There is a little resinous touch, again a bit of citrus peel, some overipe tropical fruit, quite sweet, very good DIPA.

Orange, lime, wheat malt, and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet orange, lemon-lime, wheat malt, and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Okay body.

Corn/barley malt and grass aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet corn, barley malt, and mildly bitter grass/fresh hay flavor. Good body. Nicely drinkable.
