My can just says Pumpcan on it, nothing about 'the great' on label but it is 7.9% so I guess this is it. Pop the lid and the nose is certainly yer typical pumpkin spice beer. It pours a darker brown. First big swig is a big dose of malty brew. No hint of the alky content on the nose nor in the first taste. Spices are quite muted. Yea, I'm surprised how well this brew hides its near 8% content. In the middle, there is a slight warming sensation going down the gullet but this malty brew with laid back spices remains friendly on the taste buds. Easy going and friendly, this malty beer acts quite like many decent red irish beers I’ve had. Decent mild cutting co2 in there as well. Near the end, the stiffness of the alky content finally starts to shade thru, but in the finish it remains quite quaffable. Glad I picked this one up, better than expected.

Pour is a hazy IPA with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit hops and kind of chalky. Flavor is much the same. A nice tropical fruit hops with a super dry chalky finish. No bitterness is felt. Decent hazy.
