Draught @ M&M's Taphouse, Barberton OH (Oct 2025). Clear reddish copper with a small foamy beige head, faint caramel aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter caramel malt taste with pumpkin flavor, smooth body, long finish. Nice pumpkin ale.

2.5$ can from vintage. Pour is big and black, large and in charge. Tan head fades soon. Nose is olfactory alarming impy stout with shades of vanilla. Taste is boozy sweeter medicinal partially burned old damp campfire wood, dark bitter chocolate and just maybe, some old burnt coffee that's been sitting in a diner pot all day mixed with charcoal. Quite an impact on my poor pale lager loven taste buds, whew. Did I say boozy? Oh, I forgot, this stuff just erased a thin outer layer of my memory cells. Trying to find the vanilla but its obscure, way too much of the other components smacking me in my senses. Overwhelming overload. Warming sensation in the tummy and down the throat in the middle. You gottah sip this bay-beeee. A couple of chugs of this will make you find a chair. Mouth coating old black engine oil. In the end, its a long, very burnt toast grain alky infusion concoction; finish on this is a jet fueled mess. Somebody get me a clean fresh ice cold macro light lager for a chaser, pleeeeeeeeez. Right down there with the most bastardly impy stouts like Avery Mephistopheles, Lexington Kentucky Bourbon Barrel 3-Year and Weyerbacher Tiny, WHEW. Good thing it has a high impact alky content to help me dream of mild dark lagers, hehehehh. You like impy stouts? You need to find out about this entity of a gem. Very rude, very crude.

Can for 2 bucks at chalet. Pour is big and black with a nice show of creamy head developing almost like a nitro. Red tinge can be seen within the black brew. Peanut butter nose fer sher. First taste is big peanut butter. Easy drinken at 5% but you know there is some beef in this stuff. Not sure if you can pick out the porter in this, its all peanut butter. At least its not cloying sickly sweet like so many other pastry type brews. I would probably say this is a flavored porter and not really a pastry in nature. Ok for a one time tick and, a little better than expected, but I would probably not buy another.
