From City Brew Tours. Canned April 14th.

It pours a straw gold with a small head of foam that shrinks quickly and leaves no lacing.

I can smell the agave, has some spicy hop aromas, some notes of lime.

The taste is agave, spicy hops, hints of lime, less so of toast.

Very light bodied, gets watery in the finish.

Not a good beer.

Pour is like darker cola. Nose is oversexed year end spicey holiday beer. Boozy taste. Rude, anxious stuff. Initial taste is nasty negative nellie. This is the original version with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and vanilla bean. Yes, over spiced vanilla bean fer-sher. Unbalanced beer of a spiced up sorts, way too much for this lager loving rookie, heheh. Whew, almost makes me a little dizzy. WTF, just like many other hundreds of this brew made this time of year. Could use a little more co2 to increase acceptability.

Bready malt and grass/fresh hay aroma. Golden yellow with moderate off-white head. Mildly sweet biscuit malt, and moderately bitter/astringent fresh hay/grass flavor. Good body.

On tap at MadTree, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out plenty of coffee, lactose-like sweetness, and some hearty oats. Flavour is rich, with full coffee and roasted malt notes, with a hearty oat palate. Plenty of residual sugar (lactose?) that balances the fairly strong roast. It's well-made for sure.

On tap at MadTree, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of lactose, with very subdued vanilla and cocoa. Flavour is chocolatey, with lactose and vanilla as obvious secondary elements. Rich and chocolatey finish, with plenty of lactose sweetness. Nothing complex or elegant but it's well-made. Good adjuncted pastry stout.

On tap at MadTree, pours a hazy bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out intense citrus hops, lots of pine, and alcohol. Flavour is intense, with lots of bitter piney hops, alcohol, resins, citrus, and biscuity malt. Bitter pine dominates on the finish. It's a good very strong IIPA.

On tap at MadTree, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out intense citrus and resinous hops, bitter pine, and some stone fruits. Flavour is bright, juicy and bitter, with intense resinous and piney hops galore, some stone fruits, and just enough sweet malt. Fruity, piney and resinous, with a real intense west coast hop character. Excellent.

Can drank for Aris! Hazy viscous looking vixen. Thin creamy head. Nose is very faint hops perfume. Initial taste impact is a big kick in the taste bud balls. After a small swig there is a slight warming sensation in the mouth. I can barely stand the big hops flavor of this, its pretty fricken hoppy rude. The feel of this stuff is like thicker oil with a tad of carbonation but forget the carbonation, you never really notice its there. Its so blasting buds bitter. Bastard it is. I think I'm starting to feel the force. Big nasty balls, this stuff sucks. To keep from gagging every sip, its all I can do. I must say, for the alky kick it delivers, its a cheap ass $2 brew in a can. Two of these for 4$ you get pissed. You like hops? This is very one sided. Try this, it will knock your hops socks off. One rude ass happy bullshit of a hoppy haphazard beer. I'll give it an extra dizzy point overall for being so euphoric at the end of the can. hehehhehh
