Can. A- Pineapple juice, hoppy, dank, mildew, alcohol. A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Bitter, overripe tropical fruit. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Seems that Tallgrass label art is getting progressively crappier. Beers like this also make me question if the beer is trending in the same direction. Not a horrible beer for DIPA fans but really not that great either. If you are going to include pineapple I want a nice juicy IPA. This was pretty bitter and astringent tasting. Lots of aggressive bitterness and a sharp alcohol bite.

Shared 12 oz. can. Pours almost black with a beige head. Aroma of strong roasted malt. Taste is dominated by roasted malt, with undertones of both chocolate and coffee. Good stuff.

Tall grass Brewing Co. Big Ricc A 10.5% Russian Imperial Stout with Coffee & Chocolate added. I got this can from a buddy who picked it up in Korea but it was brewed in Manhattan... Kansas.
A deep soot black with nice thick crey tan head of foam. Rich umami savoury aroma with cocoa beans and light fruity coffee notes.
Medium Body, roasty dark chocolate with a meaty savouriness. More dark chocolate flavor than coffee while I was expecting the opposite. Tasty.

Shared 16 oz. can. Hazy amber with a cream-colored head. Aroma of caramel, bread and nuts. Taste follows nose. Fairly light-bodied. Quite drinkable and honestly much better than expected though I wouldn’t really categorize as a brown ale.

Draft. Deep brown body with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, hint of dark fruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Taste of chocolate, roast. Good balance between hop bitterness and sweet malts.

Moderate orange aroma and slight tropics. Slightly hazy orange with white head that retains across the top and gathers on the ring. Taste is moderate resin and orange peel with crack background and high bitterness at the end. Orange really comes out as it warms. This was interesting and enjoyable.
