12oz bottle. Transparent golden-tan color. Minimal, respectable head. Some dry, seashore, earthy hops in the aroma. Slightly fruity, thin malt character with a pretty solid hop backbone. The Cascade hops help make this into a reasonably enjoyable beer. Straightforward, leaning towards West-Coast APA. Better than I expected.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan color with a quick-fading patchy head. The aroma is sweet, with some orange alcohol laced notes. Really captures a lot of different tastes. Solid dry bitterness up front gives way to a rich, piny, sugary, sweetness. Mild honey notes as well. A pretty decent beer, a little underrated at the present. Perhaps a little too much sweet alcohol for it’s own good.

Draft at the OF. Filtered deep orange-brown color. Solid foamy head. All sorts of orange-lemon peel bitterness. Lots of hop character though mostly on the bitter citrus end of the spectrum. Thick malt backbone, this is definitely a full-bodied, rich IIPA. A touch unrefined, but I can appreciate the intense bitterness for what it is. Worth a try, sort of like an overly assertive British IPA.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is at first caramel malt with a decent helping of pine hops. Flavor is a decent bitter pine hops, nothing outstanding though. Its ok and something i would get again but it seems like a dumbed downed DIPA for the masses. The hops are there but just for show.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is lots of sweet malt and not much else. Flavor is very heavy with lots of sweet malt, a bit of honey and alcohol. Another "Impy pilsner" that is a malt liquor with a pretty craft beer label on it.

Pour is brown with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet malts and not much else. Flavor is slighly rosted malt with a touch of chocolate at the end. Nothing really great. It’s a brown ale.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan color with a foamy white head that dissipates away in no time. Grainy malt and lemony wheat aroma, sort of adjuncty. Pretty thin on the palate, with some mild crispness upfront that quickly fades into a sweet finish. Really quite a crappy example of the style. If they aren’t using adjuncts, and even if they are, the brewers should hang their heads in shame after creating this insipid concoction. If taste and quality were clothes, this one is fully nude indeed.

Bottle from Once Upon a Vine South on 06/09/09. Cloudy orange body with a large frothy white head. Fruity wheat aroma with some hints of clove. Fruity flavor, some light wheat, hints of spice and caramel notes. Light body with moderately high carbonation.

The imperial part was not necessary, just make a good pilsner. This is solid anyway. low carbonation. Light gold color. Lots of bread dough, like sourdough, and some yeast. Good hops in the aroma and flavor. An enjoyable lager, that is slightly less enjoyable as it warms.

12oz bottle. Filtered amber-brown color. Thin white head. Classic amber malt aroma, albeit with a factory macro edge. Some vanilla amber flavor, pretty smooth and mellow. Easy drinking, middle of the road beer. Plain..very. but also a pretty nice session beer in some respects. Loses points for lack of complexity, but not so bad overall.
