Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Very spicy moldy aroma. Starts quite malty-spicy, some herbal notes, moldy, a bit soapy. Only light hints of spicy honey. Finish well balanced, intense woody-malty-spicy again with herbal notes. Okay.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, small head. Extremely spicy-herbal aroma. Starts malty-spicy, some notes of nuts, hints of caramel. A bit moldy. Strange but interesting!

Kalea Bier-Adventkalender 2018 (Frankreich-Version) Dieses Bier ist mit Geschmack nach weißen Nougat, das man in Österreich auch als türkischen Honig kennt, versetzt. Den merkt man auch deutlich. Dazu kommt ein ordentlicher Malzgeruch und -geschmack sowie einige Honigaromen. Hopfen ist eher im HIntergrund, aber er geht aber auch nicht wirklich ab. EIn interessantes Bier, das vor allem Freunde von türkischen Honig erfreuen wird.

Clear golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a surprisingly high level of sugary, nutty nougat.

Kalea Bier-Adventkalender 2018 (Frankreich-Version) Nach dem Pietra mein zweites Maronibier. Und dieses ist weitaus besser. Ein gutes belgisches Basis-Ale mit leichtem Maroni-Aroma. Es könnte zwar ruhig etwas voller und stärker nach Maroni schmecken, aber da es recht harmonisch ist, stört das nicht so sehr. Alles in allem ein gutes Bier mit einem leichten, aber interessanten Beigeschmack.
