Pour is a leathery brown with a small white head. Aroma is surprisingly pretty good. Some brown ale malt with some cocoa. Flavor is an earthy malt with some leathery notes. Not too sweet but just sweet enough. This one surprised me.

355ml clear stubby bottle at Blanco Cantina in Lethbridge. Pours a clear yellow gold with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Aroma of bready pale malt, corn and skunky hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, corn, lime and herbal hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Malt forward and crushable. Ok, for what it is.

Rumors are kind of an odd blend of tobacco, dark malt, molasses, jalapeno and bad breath. Sadly, flavors are similar to nose up front. They get a bit better after a few sips. Glad I tried it but definitely don't want to another. Might be good for cooking.

Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is malty, surprisingly fresh, dash of corn. Thick oily mouthfeel. Surprisingly good among the "tropical Lagers"

Glad to finally score one of these. Pours ugly, brownish red, murky, floating particulates, swampy head. Nose is tomato juice, spice, and light malt. The dark sweet base negra comes through in the flavor surprisingly well with semi-sweet notes to balance the spice and lime elements. Lightly salty lightly savory. Interesting sweetness is almost cola-like or maybe root beer flavored candy. Odd but its kinda good.

Aromas are malt and citrus. The unbalanced flavors are somewhat similar to nose but with a weird bitterness that doesn't fit. Just drinkable.

Had this ready to watch Mexico in the Quarterfinal round, but that went away, so here we are.A nice pineapple candy nose right under the pull tab, Pours light gold, like a cross between beer and a pineapple Fanta. Pineapple smell closer to the glass, but I haven't picked up any chile yet. Taste continues the nice light version of a Fanta. A little spice does peek through as I go further into the glass. Another enjoyable light fruit beer.
