Big 24 ounce can for a $1 at jr's. Look is very much like strawberry juice, slight orange on pink. Mostly clear on a minute haze. Small amount of strawberry fragrance. First taste is quite fruity, not too artificial, well balanced on the fruit. This is followed by a petite warming sensation on the palate. Decent carbonation with a bit of sweetart candy. Beer is well hidden in this, comes across more like a carbonated fruit drink with some heat. No detectable bitterness in this brew. Oh well, seems a lot like the other modela cheladas out there. Interesting for a one tick timer but couldn't drink much of this and I think 24 ounces is over my limit.

Old rating from 2016 - 330ml bottle, left over by friends visiting. Pours yellow with a small white head. Aromas & tastes of buttered biscuit, crackers, hay, sour corn, syrup, grain & malt. Moderate body. Light sweet malt finish.

Aroma of malts, raisins, caramel toffee. Flavour is sweet caramel. A bit thin-bodied. Not bad for a mass-produced Mexican beer.

Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma destinata a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto trasparente e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è moderato. La forza gustativa è appena percepibile, come pure la continuità. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice, dissetante e molto rustico. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, cereali, carta e gesso.

La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza trasparente. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è poco incisivo. La forza gustativa è normale e la permanenza si prolunga in modo appena percepibile. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è delicato. Sul palato arrivano indizi di miele, cereali e agrumi.

Thin aroma of corn. Supposedly, it requires a lemon to create some flavour. This is almost water. I will say this, it is a refreshing drink.

Sehr schlankes (fast dünnes) Lager, weitgehend neutraler Geschmack, etwas pappige Süße, fieser Nachgeschmack. Insgesamt ziemlich übel, geht nur eiskalt.

So I guess the name of this can means watermelon to some extent? It pours orange and clear. No head. Odd sweet fruity aroma. Taste is friendly sweet with a mild tart background. In the middle I'm getting some heat sensations on the palate. Good level of carbonation and the fruity tartness adds to it. Not sure if I detect any alky in this, more like a heat spiced soda pop. This stuff is growing on me, I didn't think I'd like it but its not bad. I'm really enjoying the heat in this brew. I must say tho, I never thought I felt any watermelon in this. Finished with a fine fruity warm controlled character. Pretty good stuff! Almost impressed! Something different for a change.
