Pours very hazy deep ruby red/orange/pink color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge sour/tart/tangy red raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, apricot, green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Amazing aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of raspberries, fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy red raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, apricot, green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and yeast/fruit tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy red raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, apricot, green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with a great malt/tart/sourness, and tangy fruit balance. Mild lingering puckering sourness, but not overwhelming. Fairly crisp finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol from 6.5%. Overall this is an amazing fruited sour/wild ale. All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the moderately acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic/tannic. Amazing balance of super jammy raspberries and Brett/Bacteria complexity; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing spot on style example as expected.
