On tap at Lakefront, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is jumbled, with gentle fruitiness, toasted malt, and subdued earthy hops. Flavour is surprisingly fruity, lacking roast or much hops � how is this a black IPA exactly? There�s some gentle bitterness, but it mostly berry-like maltiness. Off the mark.

On tap at Lakefront, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is pretty subdued, with gentle earthy hops and toasted malt. Flavour is pretty weak and not totally dialed in right, with toasted malt, bitter earthy hops, and a weird herbal note. The balance is fine but this needs a bit of work.

On nitro tap at Lakefront, pours black with a small, creamy, tan head. Aroma has soft peppermint notes upfront with little else. Flavour has a lot of metallic notes and not much peppermint. Lifeless body, though creamy. Weak and flawed� this isn�t good at all.

On tap at Lakefront, pours a lightly hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is pure butter� Jesus Christ, a disgusting nose assault of diacetyl. Flavour is even worse, with pure diacetyl. Fucking hell is this disgusting. How can this shit be sold?
