Pint can. Cloudy yellow pour with a small diminishing white had that recedes to a fine scum. The aroma is medium in strength with lemons in the forefront followed by some sawdust and limes. The flavor is dominated by the citrus flavors of lemons and limes with a woody undertone. The palate is light and crisp. Finishes long and lemony-tart-acidic. Marked down a point or two for lingering acidity. Grapefruit type bitterness noted. Overall: Decent saison--nice summer quaff. Paired well with some Manchego cheese and roasted cashews

Bottle. Black pour with a small tan head that soon recedes to a fine scum. The aroma is strong with anise, dark fruits, cocoa and molasses. The taste, like the aroma, features dark fruits, licorice, vanilla, dark chocolates, bourbon and raisins. The palate is full and creamy. Finishes long and sweet. Overall: Decent Impy--top shelf stuff. paired well with some English red cheddar.

2015 bottle. Rose gold with a cream head that's soon a fat coat. Aroma of lime, grapes, damp hay, woody spices. Lightish bodied. Moderately sour with lime, old grapefruit, twigs. A little bitterness. Dry at the end. Elegant drop that's held together very well.

Hazy bright yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of brett, farmhouse yeast, herbs, lime. Taste of sour grapes, brett, vinegar, apples, herbs and farmhouse yeast.
