Description
The impetus for La Brasserie des Bobelines was a call for project applications, set out by the town of Spa as a way to revitalise the Pavillon des Petits Jeux, a 19th-century building recognised as a Belgian national heritage site. Bobeline & Cie co-founder Didier Dumalin answered the call, putting forth an idea he had been contemplating for a long time. The microbrewery will have a production capacity of 2,000 hectolitres of beer.
Note: In 1991 Didier Dumalin came up with the idea to make a beer for Spa during the nineties. For years he had his' Bobeline 'brewed in Melle, near Ghent, by the Huyghe brewery. The Bobeline beers were brewed there till the opening of the microbrewery in 2019.

A clear golden beer with a big white head. Aroma of artificial sweet strawberries, some raspberries. Taste of sweet strawberries, artificial sweetness, sugary, high carbonation.

Bottle from a Durbuy bottle shop, courtesy of the lovely Anke.
A: hazy red, stable, pinkish head.
A: strawberry jam on white bread, wheat, lemon peel.
T: sweet strawberry, lemon acid, 'dextrose tablet'.
F: tart lemon, strawberry jam, some bread.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Cute but feels like I'm drinking those energy tablets.

Bof.
