Bottle direct from the island courtesy of Jacob. Auburn with a thin, frothy head. Aroma of soggy grains and caramel. Taste is bittersweet with the sweetness having the upper hand. Nice balance on the whole. Medium bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Simple stuff but not unpleasant.

Straight from Corfu, courtesy of Jacob. Gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of grains and lemons. Taste is mildly bitter with a light citric twist at the end. Simple. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent, especially for the style.

Bottle from Douberd, thanks! Amber color. Peararoma with soft nutmeg notes. Maltflavor with cinnamon, apple. Nutty. Not abundant with flavors and armas but suitable for a warm day.

Bottle from Douberd, thanks! Dark brown color. Malt, caramel and cacao in the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor with cacao, caramel. Thinnish. Not to be compared with a British bitter ale. Nevertheless an interesting beer.

18/8/2019. Bottles from Teddy’s & Bessie’s and Super Market Stella, Corfu. Enjoyed on the balcony at Labranda. Pours clear bright gold with a good sized frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, malt, caramel and straw. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Crisp and refreshing in the Greek heat.

16/8/2019. Draught at the Europa Bar, St.George Argirades, Corfu. Pours bright gold with a modest sized white head. Aroma of corn, sweet malt, fruit and grass. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, creamy texture, average to soft carbonation. Smooth finish. Pretty decent lager.

15/8/2019. Bottle from Teddy’s and Bessie’s supermarket, next to Labranda resort, Corfu. Pours clear deep amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, hops, fruit, brown sugar and bread. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet finish. Made a nice change from the all inclusive option.
