Nesten sort med beige skum som daler sakte. Aroma røsted malt blåbær kaffe hasselnøtt. Smak røsted malt kaffe hasselnøtt humle. Fin fylde, smaksrik, kraftig, noe bitter, noe sødme. Godt øl. Øllet skummet MYE ved helling. Flaske kjøpt på Vinmonopolet Jekta

Bottle. An unclear orange-golden colored beer with a nice-looking white head. Some curtains. The aroma has lots of DMS and also some oxidation. The aroma has a faint note of mango, with orange jam hints and a bready note. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, semi-dry, with a soft bitterness. DMS, bready malts and some fruityness in the flavor. Lasting finish with too much DMS. Not much good going on here. 210613

Bottle. A golden colored beer, hazy, with a nice white head. Some lacing. The aroma has a good dash of DMS, with pale malts in the back. Pine cones and grapefruit too. It's medium to full-bodied, semi-dry and softly carbonated, with a decent bitterness. DMS, pine cones, grapefruit and bready pale malts in the flavor. Grass notes too. 0,33 flaske fra Gulating Brennåsen, delt med Kitty på Grand hotell Arendal: nesten helt klar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Fin aroma og overbevisende smak med god bitterhet - besk citrus, bitterappelsin, litt urter og furunål tilsatt en perfekt kalibrert mengde mangopure.

Can from Gulating. Clear brown body under a medium sized, disappearing tan head. Aroma has caramel malt, mild chocolate, hint of pine and fruit. Taste is rather smooth and malty with chocolate, cocoa, nuts and balanced bitterness. Feels a bit thin bodied, but not bad considering the low ABV and decent aftertaste. Not a bad brown ale at session strength.
