0,33 flaske fra Gulating Brennåsen, delt med Kitty på Grand hotell Arendal: nesten helt klar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Fin aroma og overbevisende smak med god bitterhet - urter (inkl. gressløk), besk citrus, bitterappelsin og furunål. Hint av pepper i den tørre avslutningen.

330 ml bottle, batch L378, from Gulating ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy brownish orange colour, large white (or slightly off-white) head. Very moderate aroma, hints of citrus and dust. The flavour is first yeasty and malty, followed by a sharp and medicinal hop bitterness. Not a favourite of mine.

330 ml bottle, batch L328, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy deep golden to orange colour, enormous white head, apparently overcarbonated. Aroma of citrus marmalade, pine and spruce. Fizzy and citric mouthfeel. The flavour is full of grapefruit and pine needles / resin, aggressive bitterness.

Bottle from Gulating. Unclear golden body under a moderate sized white head. A bit weak in aroma, wheat, spicy yeast, hint of citric fruit. Taste is more distinct than aroma, but still pretty generic wheat /golden ale. Medium body and short aftertaste that ends a bit sharp.

330ml bottle, L387, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. A loose pearl white head over a golden body with a solid haze of wheat. Clingy lacing. Moderate wheat fruity aromas, hints of banana sweetness. Moderate taste profile of spiced fruity wheat. Mid-sweet finish. Okay with our cheese board. (Tromsø 01.04.2021).

From bottle in Kristiansand 18.02.21. Cloudy pale amber. Slme white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of pale malt, crystal malt, roasted bread, marmalade, sap and pine. Bitterness is lingering on. Good drinkability.
