Many thanks to Bryne for a 330ml bottle, Lot 258. Joint session with Finn and djoeye. Hazy golden body, filmy layer, spotty lacing. Modest oily hops and grainy malts on the nose. Mid-sweet taste of caramel malts and leafy hops. Bittersweet end. Smooth in the mouth. Fair enough.

Small offwhite head. Hazy reddish body with very light carbonation. Resiny toffee aroma with tropical fruit notes. Sweet ripe tropical fruit taste with herbal wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, low carbonation mouthfeel. Dryish-sweet tropical fruit and dark tropical wood aftertaste with spicy resiny notes. Very nice, but a bit lacking in character, and the fruit is a bit too ripe. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Strømmen.)

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Mørk gylden. Middels høyt tett skum som daler sakte. God fruktaroma. Mest fersken. Smaken det samme. Litt syrlig. Tørr bitter avslutning. Svakt uklar siste kvelling. Grei den.

500ml bottle, L 179, from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. Firm, bubbly, fawn-coloured head. Spotty lacing. Deep rosewood coloured body. Yuletide spices on the nose, moments of dried fruits. Spiced malt-fruity flavours, moments of earthy malts and raisin. Malt-driven ending. Smooth. Fits the Yuletide season. (Rating session at Finn’s, Tromsø 18.05.2017).

Bottle. A clear, pale golden colored beer with a small, dense, white head leaving some lacing. The aroma is lightly malty and bready, with a herbal grassy touch. It’s medium bodied, dry and smooth on the palate, with a grassy, vegetal touch. Pale malts, bread, some dms and corn. Lasting finish. Not much interesting going on here. 170617

500 ml bottle, batch L 198, from Coop Extra, Farsund. ABV is 4.7%. BB date was 04.2017. Extreme gusher bottle, half of it spilled all over the place. Brown colour, huge off-white head. Malty aroma, with moderate piney and herbal hops in the background. The flavour is fairly dry, slightly piney and woody. Not a beer I’d bother to buy again.
