Bottle. A hazy golden colored beer topped by a minimal sized white head. Just a thin rim actually. The aroma is heavy on caramel and bread, with roasted nuts and a touch of wort. Nice fruityness in the back though. It’s medium bodied, dry and nicely carbonated, with a decent bitterness. Bready, nutty malts and a generic fruityness. Some corn too. Long fruity, grainy finish. Not much good going on here. 151124

Bottle on board Fridtjofen 22.11.15. Cloudy amber. Beige head and lacing. Fruity aroma with grains, amber malt, grass and hops. Similar taste, with hints of flour and yeast. Mint in aftertaste.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 15.11.15. Almost clear pale orange. Small beige head and lacing. Aroma of raw malt, wet mash and overripe citrus. Better taste, with citrus, malt and biscuits. But still with wet mash. Bitterness of orange and grapefruit lingering on.

Flaske fra HelgøMeny Hundågkrossen, delt med Ovesen: lett uklar kobber med ok skum. Noe citrusaroma sammen med rå mesk, gress og et værhår fra Simcoe-katten. Lett og frisk ipa-smak med appelsin(marmelade), gress og malt. Fin munnfølelse og balanse, og det hele avsluttes med en behagelig bitter, halvtørr ettersmak.

Bottle. An unclear, reddish dark brown beer topped by a dense, finger-thick beige head. Roasted malts, coffee and some dried fruits in the aroma, toast and raisins. It’s full-bodied, smooth and rather warming (for the ABV) on the palate, decent carbonation. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and some toast in the flavor. Sweet, yet with a nice bitterness. Long finish. Certainly a beer I could drink a few of. 151114

500 ml bottle. Almost clear golden body with a nice off-white head. And that seems to be the only nice thing about this beer. Very strong yeasty aroma with cooked vegetables. Flavor is medium sweet, harsh malt, cooked vegetables, low bitterness and yeast. Not very pleasant at all, totally undrinkable. Something must definitely have gone wrong here, holy crap this is bad.

Mørk brunt med to fingre høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter sjokolade, kakaobønner, noe røkt og modne bær. Fyldig. Smaker salt, kakaopulver og dyp fruktig søtlighet. Middels lang saltbitter avsluttning.

Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, dense, beige head leaving some lacing. It’s very yeasty in the aroma, fruity too, with some caramel sweetness in the back. It’s medium bodied and dry on the palate, with a soft carbonation. semi-dry. Yeast, fruityness and a caramel sweetness in the flavor. Short finish. Not much interesting going on here.
