Bottle at Hr. Redaktør. Deep golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour is fruit, malt, herbs, hop and something i presume is " søl ". Medium body. Weird but interesting in a way.

Bottle, at Hr Redaktør. A hazy golden-orange beer with a dense finger thick off-white head. Pale malts, oranges, a generic fruityness and something strange and not too pleasant I guess is due to the algae used. There’s the same strange element in the flavor, but it’s not so unpleasant there. The flavor is mostly fruity and malty, with a decent bitterness. A bit yeasty too. Medium body, soft carbonation, semi-dry. Fruity finish. Not my kind of beer, too weird actually. Interesting though. 140627

Appearance: A complete absence of light on the other side of this one. A nice beige head that ends up in a thin layer. Some lacing..
Aroma: Coffee, chocolate, fruity and grapefruit hoppy.
Palate: Medium to full body. Tad sweet with a nice bitterness. Soft carbonation. A bit oily texture.
Taste: Grapefruit hoppy, dark malt, coffee, mild roasted and fruity.
Overall impression: Solid tasty stuff! A bit BIPAish and that suits me fine. A fine ale after winning some silverware with Albion.
Personal stats: Bottle at Cafe Sara in Oslo, Norway.

Enormous lasting head, more head than body. Very strong carbonation, it almost boils. Clear pale amber body. Intense floral citric peas aroma with spicy kiwi notes. Very clean and clear. Dry-sweet mealy tropic fruit and peas taste with earthy spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dry earthy spicy floral aftertaste with peas and fruit notes. Very long bitter lingering finish, but somehow it’s OK. Very nice beer, and it’s really surprising they’ve managed to make something so bitter work this well in just 4.7%. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Vika, Oslo.)

0.5l bottle from #L14. This is a cloudy deep peach orange looking one with a medium sized somewhat bubbly off-white head. I really like the aroma. Peachy, fruity and almost a bit hop-tropical with good grassy punch. A little bit of plum marmalade also found here. Tastes nice also. It has a gliding oily mouthfeel and a just below average carbonation level. Mild fruity flavors also. It has a wheat sweetness and a little hoppy kick in the taste also. Not so much as I had hoped for, but enough to make this quite tasty. A bit thin and watery in the finish and aftertaste. All in all a good one from Lindesnes. 31.12.2013
