0.5l bottle from #0115L20. I had to show the grumpy old lady in the cashier ID to buy this, so this better be a good one! Starts nice with a cloudy deep orange looking body under a medium sized bright white lacing top. Quite a lot of grains on the nose. Not only that though, as I get clear hints of peachy fruits and vegetables. A tad to grainy for my personal preference. Tastes lot better. It has a nice rye like burntness with a nice malty base all the way. It feels thin oily, almost a little watery in the mouth and it's gently carbonated with small prickling bubbles. Turns quite buttery and almost a little pungent in the finish. Definitely wouldn't hurt to turn the knot up a couple of abvs to get a little better balance here, but it a fairly drinkable grocery strength "IPA". No instant urge for a revisit though. 31.01.2014

Medium offwhite head. Slightly hazy brown body. Earthy floral peas aroma with spicy minty notes. Dry-sweet spicy earthy oily taste with floral dusty straw notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish oily strawy minty aftertaste with spicy herbal notes. Very nice. Vivid and highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body with light carbonation. Earthy dusty peas aroma with herbal buttery rye crisp bread notes. Fruit, too. Really surprisingly rich aroma. Sweetish and faintly dry dusty herbal taste with rye crisp bread notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish spicy herbal peas aftertaste with dusty wooden oily notes. Very very nice. Highly drinkable, full of flavour, and very harmonic. I need to retaste the Lillehammer Pils now, because this is a worthy contender. No longer sure what’s the best pilsner in Norway. (0.5l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Dessverre endel dms
