Bottle, at Hr. Redaktør. It pours an almost clear, golden body, with a good carbonation and a big, dense, white head leaving beautiful curtains. Pale malts in the back, with grassy, light flowery and piney hops. Pleasant bitterness in the flavour, with pale malts, some pine cones and grass and a light peppery touch. Medium to full body, creamy and nicely carbonated. Pleasant bitterness in the end. Certainly a pleasant summer beer. 121014

Bottle, at Kristiansand Ølfestival. It pours an unclear, golden body and a small, white head. The aroma is lightly buttery, with grass, citrus and a light flowery touch. A bit thin on the palate, pleasant carbonation. Good bitterness in the flavour, some caramel maltiness and butterscotch, and grassy, citrusy hops. Citrus peel and bitterness in the end. A decent beer, suffering from staying below the Norwegian 4.7 limit. 121013

Medium tan head. Opaque black body. Smoky chocolatey aroma with fruity vanilla notes. Dry chocolatey aroma with fruity vanilla notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, spicy mouthfeel. Dryish nutty earthy roasty aftertaste with chocolatey smoky notes. Interesting, unusual, a bit rough. (0.5l bottle, Cardinal, Stavanger.)

Bottle. A clear-looking, dark brown beer topped by a small, beige head. Roasted, burnt malt aromas, with some mocha. Smells like it’s gonna be a dry one, and so it is. Quite thin on the palate, with almost bonfire like flavors, as well as roasted malts and black coffee. Roasted, bonfire-like finish. A pleasant beer, especially considering the low ABV. 120203

Bottle. It pours an almost clear, dark golden body under a small, dense, light beige head. Hoppy, lightly vegetal and cheesy nose with caramel and a yeasty touch. The flavor has some bitterness in the background, with caramel maltyness doing most of the job. Some fruity hints. Medium body, smooth, and pleasantly carbonated. Caramel sweetness and some bitterness in the end. A decent beer, but rather boring and uninteresting. 120203

Black colour with a beige head. Roasted malt and coffee aroma. Moderate sweet and a bit dry texture. Well blended coffee and chocolate flavour. A lot of sediments in the bottle. Fresh and enjoyable.
